About Me
Someone once told me I was boring. Ouch. It came from someone I’d known for years and thought was a friend, which made it sting even more. Luckily, I went home to the best emotional support team imaginable: my dogs.
Armed with an iPad and a slightly bruised ego, I did the only sensible thing — I started drawing dogs. Digital dog portraits became my therapy, my happy place, and my way of turning a not-so-nice moment into something creative (and furry).
Before long, I realised I needed a little more joy and purpose in my days. Volunteering had always been good at that, so I reached out to Appledown. Soon, I found myself selling my illustrated cards alongside other wonderful Appledown volunteers.
And just like that — with a bit of grit, a lot of dogs, and plenty of drawing — Fiona Brown Illustrates was born.
